Laharn Cross to Feature as part of National Heritage Week

Laharn Cross is delighted to be part of National Heritage Week again this year which runs from 19th – 27th August 2017. There will be two dancing at the crossroads events as part of National Heritage Week – Sun 20th August and Sun 27th August both commencing at 8pm. Check it out on http://www.heritageweek.ie/whats-on/event/dancing-at-the-crossroads

National Heritage Week is coordinated by The Heritage Council and its aim is to build awareness and education about our heritage thereby encouraging its conservation and preservation.

Each year, during the last week of August, many national and hundreds of local community organisations participate by organising events throughout the country. Many of the events that take place during the week are free and the programme highlights the abundance of great work that is carried out in all communities in Ireland to preserve and promote our natural, built and cultural heritage. The Dancing at the Crossroads is only one of thousands of events planned across the county of Cork and countrywide for the week. More info on all other heritage events is available on www.heritageweek.ie

We look forward to welcoming as many new visitors to Laharn Cross as possible which no doubt will be a great success.
