There was a great gathering at the annual feast day of St. Abbey in Abbeyswell last Saturday. Many thanks to Fr. Horgan for leading the prayers and rounds around the well. Also many thanks to Registrar and Caretaker Thomas O’ Shea and locals Eugene Barrett and John O Dwyer for arranging the public lighting for the occasion. It is great to see this tradition continuing.
